Our Pastor is:

 The Rev. Bruce G. Swanson, who has been our pastor since 1989. He has previously served as pastor of a new church in Colorado and congregations in the mid-west. He is a graduate of the University of Montana and Andover Newton Theological School, Newton Centre, Massachusetts, with postgraduate work at Drew University School of Theology, Madison, New Jersey, and Iliff Seminary, Denver, Colorado. He has been active in developing and encouraging urban ministries in Baltimore including Baltimore United Church Ministries. He is on the Board of Hoffman Homes for Youth.

 

 

Our Associate Pastor for Christian Education is:

The Rev. Clara L. Young, who came to us in the summer of 1999. Previously, she has served as the director of Christian Education in Washington, D.C. and in California for the past 12 years. She is a certified Christian educator. She is a graduate of Pfeiffer College, Misenheimer, North Carolina, and the Divinity School of Howard University.

 

Our Organist/Music Director is:

Jeffery Beyers whose educational background includes bachelor's and master's work in piano at Peabody and choral conducting at Temple University. Jeff has been an organist in Episcopal and Lutheran congregations and is presently the head of the vocal music department at the Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts where his choirs have received many outstanding awards. He comes with a wealth of organ and conducting experience in church and secular settings. His repertoire of music is quite varied.

Our Custodians are:

Sam and Grace Marshall who keep our building clean and attractive.

Our Administrative Assistant is:

Joyce Kruse, who joined us in November. She is responsible for maintaining the website, producing weekly bulletins, the monthly newsletter, answering the phone, and other secretarial tasks.
